Indonesia’s Young Talented Dancers Win Multiple Awards in Malaysia
Jakarta – #HaiBunda, Early talent development supported by strong parental encouragement can lead to extraordinary achievements. This was proven by the talented young dancers of RAFA International Dance Studio, who recently delivered an outstanding performance on the international stage.
From 23 to 25 August 2024, RAFA dancers competed at the International Arts Festival (IAF) Malaysia 2024, a prestigious competition that brought together top dance talents from across the region. The event became a powerful showcase of the young dancers’ technical excellence, artistic expression, and competitive spirit.
RAFA International Dance Studio secured an impressive list of awards, reinforcing its position as one of Indonesia’s leading dance institutions. The team earned Grand Awards in two categories, Jazz Lyrical and Trio Hip Hop. In addition, they collected 5 Platinum Awards, 7 Gold Awards, 11 Silver Awards, and 6 Bronze Awards.
Beyond student achievements, four RAFA instructors were honored with the Outstanding Teachers Awards, recognizing their dedication and contribution to dance education. The award recipients were Ms. Felicia Chitra, Ms. Nabila Evendestiera, Ms. Nevine Rafa Kusuma, and Ms. Setyowati Oktavianita. RAFA International Dance Studio also received the title of Best Overseas School.enghargaan di berbagai kategori, sekaligus menegaskan RAFA International Dance Studio sebagai salah satu sekolah tari terbaik di Indonesia. Mereka membawa pulang Grand Awards untuk dua kategori, Jazz Lyrical dan Trio genre Hip Hop.
Deretan penghargaan lain yang berhasil diboyong adalah 5 Platinum Awards, 7 Gold Awards, 11 Silver Awards, dan 6 Bronze Awards. Keren! Selain itu, 4 orang guru tari juga meraih penghargaan Outstanding Teachers Awards.
Mereka adalah Ms. Felicia Chitra, Ms. Nabila Evendestiera, Ms. Nevine Rafa Kusuma, dan Ms.Setyowati Oktavianita. Tak ketinggalan, RAFA International Dance Studio juga menyabet gelar “Best Overseas School”.

Ms. Nevine also expressed her appreciation to all supporters, including parents and teaching staff, whose continuous encouragement played a key role in this achievement.
